Busy December

I have to apologize [as if so many are reading my blog] since the past two weeks have been quite busy for me. I've been tasked to handle the Metro Manila Film Festival section of PEP.ph.

The task has been arduos since I've had to guide the microsite from its inception - from design and execution - and to keeping making content available to PEPsters. I also had the guidance of my two editors, Karen and Jocie. And copyediting is done daily by Ms. Flor. [I hope I didn't confuse my pronouns again.]

Besides writing, I also shoot the events. I just can't let go of the camera just yet. It's what has enabled me to create a niche in this industry. I don't want to waste the training I received when I was starting out in media.

So, in between covering for the MMFF, I also have to pinch hit for the other writers and photographer of the site.

I was lucky that I got an exclusive last week with Jewel Mische. I was the one who spotted here at ABS-CBN when she was meeting with Star Magic head Johnny Manahan. It was a good thing she didn't take it against me that I spotted her at the Kapamilya station when she was very much identified with GMA7.

My days will get ever more busy when the MMFF reaches its peak on December 24 during the Parade of Stars and on December 26 at the Awards Night.

And then, I also have to attend to family affair thereafter.

I will probably be able to get a break by January when all the madness has stopped and the 2011 begins with new hope.
