Second Theatrical Run for Senior Year

The youth film will have its showing at Trinoma and Glorietta

The youth film Senior Year returns to the cinemas  after its first successful theatrical run last March.

Dimples Romana is just one of the actors who lent her talent for the movie.

Senior Year will hit Trinoma and Glorietta 4 cinemas from April 13 to 19, marking another feat for this delightful full-length feature by filmmaker Jerrold Tarog.

The film was given a Grade of A by the Cinema Evaluation Board. It also received an endorsement from the Department of Education (DepEd).

The film tells the stories of ten students as they struggle through the last months towards graduation. Secrets are revealed, hearts are broken, and friendships are mended as the teens move towards the challenging world of adulthood.

The ensemble cast is a mix of professional and student-actors. Some of the established actors include Dimples Romana, LJ Moreno, Ina Feleo, Arnold Reyes, Che Ramos, Ramon Bautista and RJ Ledesma. The newbies are Daniel Clavecilla Medrana, Aaron John Tan Balana, Rosanne de Boda, Franzes Bunda, Mary Amirose Lojo, Daniel Lumain, Celina Penaflorida, Nikita Conwi, Eric Marquez and Sheila Marie Bulanhagui.

Senior Year was also part of the recent Asian Digital Competition of the 2011 Hong Kong International Film Festival. It will also be screened at this year’s Jeonju International Film Festival in South Korea.
