Busy June
June 2012.
I thought this would be another ho-hum month for me. But things are looking to be busy for the next several days.
The week that passed:
June 7, Thursday - Miss World 2012 Philippines Press Presentation at the Manila Hotel in Manila.
The 25 candidates were presented to the press last Thursday noon to the press. What surprised me was there was really a whole slew of writers doing the beauty pageant circle.
Looking Ahead:
June 11, Monday - Philippine Premier airing of Runaway
This action series stars Korean triple threat Rain. This was shot in location in various country like Japan, Hong Kong, Macau and even here in the Philippines.
June 19, Tuesday - Artista Academy Grand Auditions at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
TV5 is looking for 16-21 years old. Bring your birth certificate, valid ID and your best glam shot.
This is a one-time big time audition so
June 23, Saturday - NCAA Opening at the Smart Araneta Coliseum
AKTV is the new home of the NCAA starting this school year. Basketball games will be aired on AKTV on IBC13 every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 4-8pm.
June 24, Sunday - Miss World Philippines Pageant Night
This will be held at the Manila Hotel Big Tent on Sunday. First time to really watch a grand beauty pageant. I wasn't able to cover any during my stint as a writer or photographer in the entertainment beat. By the way, check out this website for more updates.
