The Amazing Race Philippines race contestants have been busy the past couple of days promoting the show.

A week ago all of the participating pairs saw each other after a long time for the press launch to introduce all of the teams.

Last Thursday night, most of them were excited to watch the pilot episode of the show at the Dragon Bistro Pub in Roces Ave, Quezon City.

Most of them reminisced that fateful day when they began the race of their lives. (Taping for the show incidentally happened during June and July.)

Derek as host of the show was glad to finally the product. One of the reasons he transferred to the Kapatid network was the chance to host the show. (The other, being able to cover the 2012 London Olympics.)

Reactions of the race contestants were of surprise and delight as this was also the first time for them the strategies of the other teams. Post-leg interviews also revealed their thoughts about what had happened to them during the leg.
