The law finally caught up with David Bunevacz

Former Philippine decathlete David Bunevacz was in the news recently when press release from the US District Attorney's office in California made known of the charges against him.

He was implicated in getting financing for a cannabis venture that scammed investors.

This wasn't the first time the Bunevcz was involved in such a scheme. Back in December 2007, he and his wife, Jessica Rodriguez were booted out of the aesthetic clinic of which they were partners. They were accused of embezzling funds from the clinic.

The best proof for that was a BMX X5 that David gifted his wife in October 2007.

The car was given after the finals night of singing contest where Rodriguez placed third. She proclaimed that she still felt like a million peso winner after receiving the car from her husband.

The brand new car was valued at around 5-6 million pesos.
